Dr. Joe Bufford serves as a pro staff leader with Buckventures Outdoors TV as featured on the Outdoor Channel and on the Woodsman as featured on the Sportsman Channel.  He is a co-founder of Pastors In The Outdoors, a ministry dedicated to reviving men of God through hunting and fishing retreats.  He has been an avid outdoorsmen for nearly forty years pursuing everything from deer to bear to elk to antelope and even South African game.  His bow is the weapon of choice for large game, but lays it down for his shotgun and Labradors when waterfowl season arrives.  Dr. Bufford was introduced to the outdoors by his father and, now as a father himself, spends a great deal of his time with his family in God's outdoors.  His education includes degrees from Atlanta Christian College, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has been married to his wife, Nicole, since 1994, and together with their children resides in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  Born and raised in Georgia, he served as pastor for several churches and as a law enforcement chaplain to multiple agencies before moving to Kentucky.  Dr. Bufford is the Senior Pastor at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
